Champion ONE Launches CXP Transceivers
New 100G Solution for Data-Center Applications
BEACHWOOD, Ohio – June 2, 2015 – Champion ONE, a leading provider of optical transceivers and passive network systems, is announcing the general availability of CXP transceivers. This exciting new form factor is the first 100G solution designed specifically to meet short-haul data-center needs. These new transceivers will be sold under Champion ONE’s Passport™ line of universal transceivers.
The CXP is designed to support 12x10Gb/s Ethernet applications with multi-rate capability of 1.06Gb/s to 11.3Gb/s per channel, over distances of up to 100m on OM3 fiber. It operates off of a single 3.3V power source, with a maximum power consumption of 3.5W.
