Coming Soon: XGS-PON Optical Transceivers

We’re excited to announce the imminent release of XGS-PON SFP+ and XFP transceivers!

The key advantage of XGS-PON deployment is that it will allow network operators to converge services over a common infrastructure.

These transceivers will offer symmetrical 10G broadband services (upstream and downstream) for both OLT and ONU applications in a FTTx network architecture. The key advantage of XGS-PON deployment is that it will allow network operators to converge services over a common infrastructure.  Sharing current fiber/ODN infrastructure with existing services simplifies the process and reduces the overall cost of upgrading to 10G-PON services. As shown below, XGS-PON can run on the same fiber as existing GPON service.

Stay tuned for further updates as our XGS-PON transceivers are scheduled to launch March 2019.
